Eternal na dřevo základní
Eternal na dřevo základní is a water-dilutable paint based on acrylic resin, pigments, fillers and special additives. Eternal na dřevo základní forms an adhesive bridge between the substrate and the topcoat, fills pores and evens out surface irregularities of the substrate, reduces the penetration of coloured stains from the substrate, and thus improves the appearance and properties of the resulting surface finish.
It is intended for base coats of wooden products for interior and exterior use, e.g. doors, windows, fences, as well as for coating chipboard and fibreboard. ETERNAL na dřevo základní increases adhesion between the substrate and the topcoat, fills pores and evens out surface irregularities of the substrate, reduces the penetration of coloured stains from the substrate, and thus improves the properties and appearance of the resulting surface finish.
- Water-dilutable paint: Eternal na dřevo základní is a coating material based on acrylic resin, which makes work and cleaning easier without the need for solvents.
- Adhesive bridge: Ensures better adhesion of the topcoat to the substrate, thereby increasing the overall durability and quality of the final coat.
- Fills pores and evens out irregularities: Thanks to its composition, it fills pores and surface irregularities, creating a smooth base for subsequent coats.
- Reduces the penetration of coloured stains: Prevents unwanted stains from seeping through from the substrate, improving the appearance of the final surface finish.
- Universal use for interior and exterior: It is suitable for base coats of wooden products such as doors, windows, fences, chipboard and fibreboard, both indoors and outdoors.
- Improves the properties and appearance of the surface finish: Thanks to better adhesion and a levelled surface, it improves the overall mechanical and aesthetic properties of the topcoat.
- Preparation for the final coat: An ideal base coat that prepares the wooden surface for the application of the final topcoat, extending its lifespan and durability.
Processing
- Substrate preparationBefore application, the substrate must be solid, dry, clean and free of grease and wax stains. The wood must be impregnated and its moisture content must not exceed 12%. Resin must be removed from the wood, for example by washing it out with nitro thinner.
- ApplicationAfter thorough mixing, Eternal na dřevo základní is applied with a brush / by dipping / by spraying in 1–2 layers. The time interval between individual layers is 10–24 hours, at a temperature of 20–25 °C. If necessary, Eternal na dřevo základní can be diluted with a maximum of 5% water to achieve the correct application viscosity.
- ConditionsThe temperature of the substrate and surroundings must be in the range of 10–30 °C, and the relative air humidity must be a maximum of 75%. Lower temperature or higher air humidity prolong the drying time.
- CleaningAfter finishing painting, remove as much coating material as possible from the tools, then wash them with clean water.
