Surtep Animals Elizabeth Protective Collar for Dogs
The protective collar helps us prevent the dog from, for example, biting out stitches after surgery, licking wounds, etc. You might think that your dog will listen to you and leave the affected area alone, but sooner or later it may happen that the dog bites out the stitches or licks the treated wound "down to the bone".
Subsequent treatment is very complicated and, above all, unnecessary. Therefore, apply the collar as soon as possible. At first, the animal bumps into everything and dislikes wearing it. Over time, however, it gets used to it, and this is definitely the lesser evil compared to possible complications without the collar.
Check whether the dog is able to drink with the collar on, or regularly allow it to do so by removing the collar.
