RAID: World War II (XOne)

RAID: World War II is an action co-op shooter for four players, set in a time when the Nazi war machine was still winning and little hope remained. During the worldwide fight against evil, four war prisoners are discovered during a raid on a Gestapo prison.

They were freed by a certain “Mrs White”, a secret British agent who needs someone to eliminate Hitler and his Third Reich once and for all. CLASSES – Players can choose from four different classes: scout, assault, rebel and demolitions specialist.

Each class has its own developed skill tree, allowing for highly varied playstyles. WAR CRIES – Each class has its own war cry – a powerful ability that can boost you or your whole team.

If a player activates the BERSERK war cry, for example, players won't consume any ammunition for a limited time, allowing them to fire at will. CHARACTER CUSTOMISATION – Our four heroes are modelled after the main participants of the European theatre of WWII: Great Britain, the USA, Germany and the Soviet Union.

Each of them has their own unique look and uniform, which you can fully customise to your taste. WEAPON MODIFICATIONS – World War II saw the dawn of a whole range of new weapons that could go “bang” in new and inventive ways.

RAID will let players play around with these weapons and, of course, upgrade and customise them. OPERATIONS – RAID offers players the chance to enjoy extended adventures thanks to the Operations mode. Operations represent a series of highly modified raids with new stories, unique content and objectives. The risk is greater, but so are the rewards!

CHALLENGE CARDS – Players can earn and spend special challenge cards. These allow players to modify the “rules” of a raid in a way that requires balancing pros and cons. For example, they can increase the frequency of ammo drops from enemies, but at the cost of enemies dealing higher damage.

LOCATIONS – RAID: World War II takes place in locations across war-torn Europe. Whether it's the mighty Flak tower dominating the heart of Berlin or the idyllic bridge over the Elbe, players will be able to enjoy the carnage in every corner of Hitler's empire.
