Frequently asked questions
How to correctly measure your dog?
How to measure your dog?
When buying clothes, you need to choose the correct size. The garment won't restrict your dog's movement in any way, it will feel comfortable, and the garment will fulfil its proper function. Therefore, you need to measure your dog correctly, as each manufacturer has its own size charts.
When choosing clothing, chest circumference is the most important, followed by back length and neck circumference.
- Measure your dog's back length from the base of the neck to the tail.
- Neck circumference determines whether the garment will be comfortable for your dog. If the neck circumference of the garment is too tight, your dog will have great difficulty breathing. Therefore, we recommend choosing a garment with a slightly (2-3 cm) larger neck circumference than your dog's actual measurement.
- Measure your dog's chest at the widest point, usually just behind the front legs. As mentioned above, chest circumference is the most important factor when choosing clothing. Choose a garment for your dog so that it does not restrict its movement. We recommend choosing a chest circumference on the garment about 2 cm larger than your dog's actual chest circumference.
