Xyladecor Extreme
Xyladecor Extreme is a professional premium medium-coat glaze resistant to extreme weather conditions and biocorrosion. The StayClean technology gives the wood a self-cleaning coating film, which, thanks to active molecules, prevents contamination of the treated surface.
Balance Technology ensures that the glaze combines the advantages of both solvent-based and water-based products, combining a long working time with fast drying and long-term protection. Thanks to its properties, Xyladecor Extreme glaze is suitable for exterior use, where it ensures long-lasting durability for wood.
- Extremely resistant to weather conditions and biocorrosion
- 12 years of protection
- Fast-drying

Notice: A colour shade claim will only be accepted if a test coat was applied before the work was carried out and this test coat was claimed with us. The clear shade of Xyladecor EXTREME can be used to lighten darker shades. The type, surface and previous coating of the wood affect the resulting shade of the coating, so we recommend carrying out a test coat before final application.
We do not recommend using this product on some hardwoods (especially oak), acacia, and larch, due to their high tannin content, which leads to slow drying and the risk of tannin leaching.
Use
- Surface preparationSurfaces must be clean, dry, degreased and sanded. Remove any remnants of the original paint, peeling varnish or residues of stains. For wood exposed to increased moisture, we recommend impregnating it with Xyladecor XylamonHP BPR fungicidal wood preservative to increase protection against blue stain and rot.
- ApplicationMix the paint thoroughly before use. Apply in 1-3 coats. Pick up a sufficient, even amount with the brush and spread it thoroughly into an even layer.
- ConditionsThe ambient and surface temperature should be around 20 °C. Relative humidity should be below 50%. Low temperature and high humidity can significantly affect drying.
- CleaningAfter finishing painting, remove as much paint as possible from the tools, then wash them with clean water.
