Eternal Antikor Acrylic
Eternal Antikor Acrylic is a water-thinnable anti-corrosion primer paint made from an aqueous dispersion of alkyd-modified acrylate copolymers, special anti-corrosion pigments, fillers and additives that adjust the properties of the coating.

Eternal Antikor Acrylic
Eternal Antikor Acrylic is a water-thinnable anti-corrosion primer paint made from an aqueous dispersion of alkyd-modified acrylate copolymers, special anti-corrosion pigments, fillers and additives that adjust the properties of the coating.
ETERNAL Antikor Acrylic is designed to protect metal structures against corrosion as a primer. It is also suitable for mixed structures where steel is combined with new, non-corroded galvanised sheet metal.
- Water-thinnable anti-corrosion coating: Eternal Antikor Acrylic is an anti-corrosion primer based on an aqueous dispersion of alkyd-modified acrylate copolymers, which ensures protection of metal surfaces against corrosion.
- Special composition: It contains anti-corrosion pigments, fillers and additives that optimise the coating's properties and ensure long-term protection of the metal.
- Universal use: Suitable for steel structures as well as mixed structures where steel is combined with galvanised sheet metal, protecting metal surfaces against corrosion.
- Good adhesion: The coating provides good adhesion to well-cleaned metal surfaces and protects them from moisture and air.
- Base protective coating: It serves as a base layer, which must subsequently be covered with a top coat (e.g. Eternal Mat Acrylic) for complete protection.
Application
- Surface preparationThe metal surface must be thoroughly cleaned of old, non-adhering coatings and corrosion products, for example using a rotary steel brush. The surface then needs to be degreased (the use of ETERNAL degreaser is recommended). The coating should be applied immediately after cleaning the surface.
- ApplicationEternal Antikor Acrylic is applied in two layers with a brush or roller. An interval of 5 hours at a temperature of 20 °C must be observed between individual coats. It is not suitable for spraying with electric vibration guns.
- Top coatOnce the primer has dried, it must be covered with one to two layers of a top coat (for example Eternal Mat Acrylic) to achieve complete protection and an aesthetic finish.
- ConditionsApplication should take place at a minimum surface and ambient temperature of 10 °C. Coatings on steel surfaces should be applied in a dry environment. In cold weather, it is recommended to apply the first coat very thinly so that it dries quickly.
- CleaningAfter finishing painting, remove as much of the coating material as possible from the tools, then wash them with clean water.

Coverage of 6.3–8.3 m²/kg per layer. For absorbent or rough surfaces, use the upper value.
