Remmers - Vosková lazura

Properties

The Wax Lasure is water-based and made from renewable raw materials such as linseed oil and natural resin. It has very good workability, is economical to use, and provides very good water resistance, demonstrated by the pearl effect. The product is resistant to chemicals according to DIN 68861, 1C, and provides long-term protection for wooden surfaces.

Storage

The Wax Lasure should be stored in closed original containers, in a cool, dry place, protected from frost. The storage period is at least 24 months. Opened containers should be well sealed and used as soon as possible to maintain the optimal properties of the lasure.

Application

1. Make sure the substrate is professionally prepared, clean and dry, free of dust, grease and loose particles. The wood moisture content should be between 8-12%.
2. Mix well before use. The temperature of the material, surroundings and substrate should be between 15 °C and 30 °C.
3. Apply with a brush, roller or by spraying (cup gun: nozzle 1.3 - 1.8 mm, spraying pressure 1.5 - 2.5 bar).
4. Carry out a light intermediate sanding using a sanding sponge with a grit of 240 - 320. Avoid sanding through.
5. Once dry, apply the second coat thinly.

Note

The drying time is approximately 2 hours dust-dry, dry to the touch after 4 hours, and suitable for further processing after drying overnight. Fully loadable after 7 days. Drying depends on the type of wood and the absorbency of the substrate. Excess material on non-absorbent areas may slow drying, as can low temperatures or high humidity. Clean work tools immediately after application using water and a cleaning agent. Ensure thorough ventilation during work and drying. Dispose of the contents and container in accordance with local regulations and do not pour into the drain.
