Protects and decorates wooden floors, creates a glossy or semi-matt surface resistant to abrasion.

Xyladecor Water-based Floor Varnish
Xyladecor Water-based Floor Varnish is recommended for interior use on various wooden surfaces, such as parquet, panelling, doors, railings or furniture and others. It creates a silky semi-matt or glossy surface resistant to abrasion.
It does not change the colour of the wood, so it does not require the prior use of a special base varnish. We do not recommend using the varnish on heated surfaces or on surfaces treated with oil or wax.

Surface requirements
Surfaces to be varnished must be clean, dry, degreased and sanded. Remove all remnants of the original paint, peeling varnish or remnants of stains. Fill any damaged surface with wood filler and sand down. The product is ready to use. Mix thoroughly before application.
- Brush with fine natural bristles or a roller
- With water, or water with soap if needed. Before cleaning, remove as much varnish as possible from the brush and roller.
Application
Use a brush with soft natural bristles or a velour varnishing roller for application. As a base coat on new surfaces, apply one layer of floor varnish diluted with 10% water. Then apply 2–3 thin layers of undiluted varnish (always after at least 2 hours each). Depending on the quality of the substrate, individual layers may be sanded with fine-grit sandpaper. Do not use the varnish at air temperatures below 5 °C or in high humidity. The surface reaches full resistance after 2–3 days.
