Xyladecor UV+
Xyladecor UV+ is a colourless, solvent-based glaze with two types of UV absorbers that provide effective, long-term protection against weather conditions and UV radiation. It creates a satin finish that enhances the wood grain without restricting the wood's breathability. The coating does not crack or peel.
It is suitable for interior and exterior use on all wooden surfaces, such as wall cladding, railings, fences, pergolas, garden furniture and more. The glaze is also suitable for wooden surfaces in bathrooms exposed to higher humidity. Xyladecor UV+ is recommended for furniture in conservatories.

Application
- Surface preparationSurfaces to be coated must be clean, dry, degreased and sanded. Remove any remnants of the original paint, peeling varnish or residues of stains. Stir the contents thoroughly before use. Do not dilute. Remove any skin that may have formed.
- ApplicationStir the contents thoroughly before use. Do not dilute. Apply with a brush with fine natural bristles in 2-3 thin coats along the wood grain (always after 24 hours). Depending on the quality of the substrate, individual coats can be sanded with fine-grit sandpaper. For previously untreated wood outdoors, we recommend pre-treating it with Xyladecor Xylamon HP fungicidal impregnation for increased protection against blue stain and rot.
- ConditionsThe ambient and surface temperature should be +20 °C. Relative humidity should be below 65%. Low temperature and high humidity can significantly affect drying.
- CleaningAfter finishing painting, remove as much paint as possible from the tools, then clean with thinner S 6006 or another common thinner.
